Section VI
Make it Fun

Maintaining optimal levels of HGH and antioxidants in the body is merely a matter of taking a few supplement capsules a day. As for diet and exercise, this can be easy too - if you make it fun. After all, not only do we want to add these extra years and decades to our lives, and not only do we want them to filled with wellness, we also want them to be filled with meaning and happiness.

Eating, for instance, should never be dreary or dull. In the past twenty years, accompanying the increased interest in health, there have been hundreds of cookbooks published, many of which aim at providing not only healthy meals, but meals that tickle the taste buds. There is everything from the hearty to the exotic, from Italian to Thai.
So there is no need for meals to be difficult or dull.

And since you can have meals that are both good tasting and good for you, why not?
The two are no longer mutually exclusive.

As for overeating, if that has been your pattern, try to include more vegetables and fruits in your meals. They will help fill you up without inflicting nearly as many calories as you will get from most meals. More than anything, try leaving the table after your first helping. Try going for a walk instead of going for a second helping. Take a short stroll to a nearby park or plaza, instead of lolling about on the couch, feeling like a python that has swallowed a pig. You will actually feel lighter and more energized. And more alive.

Exercise, too, will add to your feeling of being alive. Again, the main thing is to make it enjoyable, not a task.
