The Truth About Hormone Replacement, Antioxidants, Exercise, Stress, and Diet.

Section III
Refortifying the Fort, Re-arming the Army (cont'd)

Most importantly, growth hormone has shown that it can restore the resupplying of progenitor cells that tend to decline with age. That is especially significant because the progenitor cells might be compared to the raw recruits at boot camp, and keeping their numbers high is crucial to keeping the rest of the army up to full strength.

Leaving off from the military metaphor at this point, we'll give Dr. Chein the last word on the topic:

"The connection between HGH and the immune system goes beyond NK cells and the ability to combat cancerous tumors. Research has found a clear relationship between HGH levels and the body's ability to fend off any disease. HGH deficiency has been shown to cause, or at least contribute to immunodeficiency.

So, HGH replacement is an effective therapy for improving the body's overall natural ability to defend itself against disease.

Even if a person has enough of the NK cells and other immune system ammunition, there is experimental evidence to support that HGH therapy will enhance the activity of these, making them work even more quickly and efficiently to fight off infection and disease."
