The Road to Longevity Donald McLeod M.D., Philip White M.D., and W.M. Heatherington The Truth About Hormone Replacement, Antioxidants, Exercise, Stress, and Diet. Section III Energy | ||||||||||||||||
Without energy there would be nothing happening - no motion, no warmth, no life. For all living things, including human beings, it is energy that is an essential animating force. Without it we become inert, inanimate. Dr. Bengtsson has observed that the near universal symptom he has seen in HGH deficient patients is their lifeless, low energy state. With HGH therapy, most of these patients came out of this "zombie" state, and returned to something approximating normal. In their study at Palm Springs, Dr. Chein and Dr. Terry found a whopping 84% of patients who reported an improvement in energy levels after HGH treatment. In that same study, 78% reported an improvement in their attitude toward life. This last figure should not surprise us. When our health is improving, when we are sleeping like we did a decade or two earlier, and when we are feeling energetic and renewed, we are bound to experience an improved attitude toward life. Because when you add up all the improvements that HGH can make in you, the bottom line is: you feel good.
