If so, you will have a strong advantage. Where those in the past usually had only a few years to improve the lot of their families and their communities, years that were often marred with the increasing ravages of age, you will have many years, decades even, in which to pursue goals that let you give something back.

In essence, then, what those extra years and decades mean is that you will be able to pursue a multitude of activities you hadn't sufficient time for in the past. You will be able to launch projects and dreams that have long been dormant. You will be able to serve as mentor and guide to grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You will have those extra years in which to give back to the world, if you so desire, some of the good you have received from it.

Most importantly, you will have that extra time that will take you to future developments in the field of anti-aging. The importance of the last point is this: we are witnessing a time in which there has been a virtual avalanche of activity in anti-aging research. What was a mere trickle in the 50's and early 90's is now a thundering rush.

The information is pouring in, from fields as diverse as nutrition, gerontology, oncology, genetics. Few are the discoveries made these days that do nothave application somehow to the field of anti-aging. Most of us do not have the time or patience to wait for more clinical trials and studies.

With this pell-mell surge of furious activity and research, our knowledge about the body, and about the aging process, is growing at an exponential rate. Almost certainly this means that in the next ten and twenty years there will be numerous breakthroughs, some of them stunning, momentous breakthroughs.

By adding these extra years and decades to your life, and by keeping in good shape, not only will you have the enjoyment of those years, you will be there to benefit from the breakthroughs in research that will be coming at you in the future.
