Chromium

Chromium has also been shown to promote lower levels of triglycerides and LDL cholesterol, which is the bad cholesterol.
At the same time it promotes higher levels of HDL, the healthy cholesterol.

It is not surprising, then, that optimal levels of chromium are conducive to good heart health.

As a further plus, chromium plays an important part in the body's use of protein, and in the formation of muscle tissue.
Chromium has shown itself to be extremely safe when taken in proper quantities.

On the other hand, given the benefits of chromium, it is well worth the care in making sure we get enough of it.

Several studies have been done to demonstrate the benefits of chromium.
We have seen our own anecdotal evidence with our diabetes Type 2 patients when they are marginally controlled with oral medication.
