Sexual Dysfunction in Men (cont'd)
Whatever the ultimate physiological explanation, the main point is that HGH has been shown to effect a striking improvement in both sexual satisfaction and performance. Although few studies have focused specifically on the effects of HGH in this area, a number of researchers have commented on reports made by patients in this regard. Bengt-Ake Bengtsson had a number of patients from one study report an improvement in sex drive and performance. Also, many patients asked to be allowed to continue with HGH therapy once the study was completed. Dr. Terry, as we will recall, first contacted Dr. Chein about losing fat around his (Dr. Terry's) middle, and was put on HGH. Besides the positive results already recorded in this regard, Dr. Terry also experienced the sexual boost that so many others have attested to. The effects were so pronounced that even his wife was amazed. As Dr. Terry jokingly put it, "It scared my wife. She said, 'What's that doctor doing to you?'" This experience is fairly typical of patients who have received HGH treatment for one reason, and to their pleasant surprise, found that their sex life had been greatly improved as well. The third book of the Doctors' Secrets trilogy, "What Men Want: Testosterone - Sharing the Secrets of Men's Health" is an in-depth study of all aspects of men's health issues.
